I was another beta reader for this book, and I agree with a lot of the comments Feliz made. Especially riveting was the parallel that was drawn between Chad and his father once Chad was well enough to begin to develop into the man his illness had kept him from becoming before.
I’ve been neck-deep in a project and have gotten woefully behind in blogging, but I surfaced today to discover some wonderfully kind words.
Along with such other fabulous writers as Kaje Harper and Erica Pike, my book was listed as a Recommended Read for February. To quote:
These are chosen by us, the reviewers of Prism Book Alliance™. It is a way to recognize those authors whose work sticks with us. Those who go above and beyond.
Feliz said, in part: if you’re ready to sink into an artfully crafted story full of philosophical wisdom, permeated with heartfelt human kindness and imperturbable optimism, reach for this book, you can’t go wrong.
I am touched beyond words. To read the full review, click here, and may Chad and Warren resonate with you as well as with Feliz and the other readers and reviews who have taken the time to comment.
